Ein Gruppe kann auch zur Organisition, wie ein einfacher Ordner in einem Dateisystem eingesetzt werden, ohne das eine Gruppen-Konfiguration hinzugefügt wird. So kann z.B. die Gruppe Kunde ohne zugewiesene Clients weitere Untergruppen besitzen. Diesen Untergruppen können dann Konfigurationen und Clients zugewiesen werden und Vererbungsfunktionen angewendet werden.
