For Thin Clients with the Version 11.00 the Kernel 5.4 is to be used.

The recommended system requirements are 2 GB RAM and 2 GB flash-memory.

Supported Thin Client Hardware:

  • All Intel CPUs with 1.5 GHz and upward

  • All AMD CPUs with 1.5 GHz and upward

Supported PC Hardware:

  • All common Desktop CPUs

  • Nvidia, Intel and AMD GPUs

  • Alle common LAN Chipsets

  • 90% of the common WLAN chipsets with b/g/n support

  • UMTS Mini-PCI Huawei EM770 and others

  • UMTS USB Huawei E303 and others

Supported peripheral devices:

  • Datev mIdentity (without saving)

  • ReinerSCT, Omnikey and SCM Smartcard Cardreader

  • Document-scanner which are supported by the sane project

  • Local printer

  • Bluetooth devices  (e.g. handheld barcode reader)

  • Mass-storage-devices (CDROMs, USB sticks, digital cameras)

Devices of the series TK37xx, LT320 and earlier can be used with the firmware 6.50 maximal. 

Besides the current firmware 11.00 the older release 8.04 is still supported. The life cycle of many Thin Client products where the orignal equipment manufacturer does not provide updates anymore, can be run with Rangee OS. Contact the Rangee marketing on demand. All server environments are supported by the aforementioned firmware releases. If necessary, contact Rangee sales. All server environments can be supported with the aforementioned firmware releases.
