Another option to add clients to the TCMS is the Group Discover function. The following steps are required:

  1. The clients must already be powered on and available on the network within a specific IP range.

  2. In the Temp Group, the IP range of the powered-on clients must be specified under Subnets.

  3. Right-click on the Temp Group to which the clients should be added, open the context menu, and select the Group Discover function.  
    The Discover function is added in the background as a Scheduled Action and executed within one minute.

The clients found within the specified subnet range are automatically added to the Temp Group.
