RangeeOS - Dateien verteilen / Dateien auf Desktop oder im Startmenü anzeigen
In some situations, it may be necessary to display, for example, a manual or help document to the user on the desktop. With the software module shared-file, you have the option to distribute any files to devices and make them available via the desktop or the start menu.
Installation
Install the module as described in the howto RangeeOS - Software Update.
Distributing a file
After installation, create a New Connection via Connections & Applications -> Shared File.
Assign a connection name (display name on desktop/start menu) and select the file to be distributed. The remaining options correspond to the default options in most software modules.
After applying the settings, a corresponding icon is immediately displayed on the desktop or in the start menu.
Opening a file
In order for the file to be displayed correctly, a corresponding program must be installed on the client. For example, the following software modules are suitable for this purpose:
